Gamewell-FCI fire alarm system earns new UL listing

The E3 Series fire alarm and communications system from Gamewell-FCI, a division of Honeywell, is now listed to a new Underwriters Laboratories standard, according to a company statement. The standard, ANSI/UL 2572, is a new requirement for all types of mass notification systems.

Gamewell-FCI by Honeywell  now offers a Conventional Agent Release Control Panel (Flex GR506R) that can provide powerful fire protection, while simultaneously controlling the release of one or two fire suppression agents. The Flex GR506R panel is compatible with nearly 40 releasing control devices for as many as 12 sprinkler and fire suppression agents, and is currently one of only two UL-Listed releasing systems for the new aerosol suppression agents growing in popularity since the NFPA’s (National Fire Protection Association) introduction of its 2010 Standard for Fixed Aerosol Fire-Extinguishing Systems.
