XTL Wireless Security System

DMP XTL™ Wireless Security System

Introducing the XTL Wireless Security System that operates via cellular communications.  The panel is about 3” X 5” X 1”, but don’t be fooled by the small size. We packed this compact panel with almost all of the popular security features and functions of our full-size DMP panels. It offers 30 user codes with authority levels, 28 wireless zones, and a 100-event memory. It supports up to six areas, four two-way wireless keypads and eight fobs. We shrunk the panel to give you more installation options, but we didn’t shrink the capabilities.

Designed for faster, cleaner installations

An XTL system is completely wireless. Your installers don’t have to crawl through basements or rummage around attics pulling wires. Features built into our wireless devices make one-man installation and setup possible. Installations that would typically take three techs can be done in the same time with just one. That means you can do more installs per day, and do each at a lower cost.

More security than the self-contained systems

All-in-one counter-top systems seemed like a good idea. The fact is that they are so easily and quickly disabled that they don’t provide much security. While the XTL is small, it’s a true, professional-quality distributed system. The control panel and sounder are separate, connected wirelessly, so it’s much harder for an intruder to silence or disable. Because the XTL relies on cellular communications, there are no phone lines to cut. Small package. Big security.

Cellular communications with In Touch™ Messaging Features

The XTL is equipped with digital cellular communications. That responds to the growing demand from your customers to cut their dial-up lines and go cellular. With cellular alarm system communications, your customers get the In Touch Messaging Features that let them quickly and easily arm or disarm their system, check status and turn outputs on or off via SMS text commands from their cell phone. Your customers can also opt to receive system alarms and alerts to up to three destinations, including cell phones, mobile devices, or email addresses. Your customers will love In Touch. You’ll love the RMR from the cellular features. You can do full panel programming via cellular in the same manner as digital dialer and network communications using Remote Link™.

Features for residential and smaller commercial customers

The XTL has all the features and capacity that your residential or smaller commercial customers expect. That includes our Cancel/Verify feature that enables them to quickly cancel false alarms and avoid an unnecessary response, or to confirm an alarm and summon responders instantly. Residential customers appreciate the Home/Sleep/Away arming feature that lets them select one of three arming modes. Commercial customers like the ability to receive Late To Open/Early To Close Alerts and Traffic Count Reports, useful information that helps them better manage their business. Receiver 1 & 2 Operation lets them direct theft alarms/alerts to a specific guard position, and fire or other alerts to external emergency responders.

1135 Wireless Siren

The 1135 Wireless Siren makes it possible to quickly and easily place one or more sirens as part of an installation. With both residential and commercial end users, this battery powered siren is an easy, add-on sale to customers who want the extra security provided by locating sirens in several interior locations. The 1135 includes a cover tamper and survey LED, and comes with batteries.

9000 Series Wireless Keypad

The 9060 and 9063 Wireless Keypads are fully functioning, supervised keypads that provide installation flexibility. These full-feature keypads include four 2-button panic keys and an internal speaker. The backlit keyboard is easy to read, and both the keyboard and logo turn Red in alarm conditions, providing a visual alert. Both Keypads have a 32-character display, and can be programmed with a 16-character home or business name.  The 9063 keypad also includes a built-in proximity reader for code-less arming and disarming.

New XTL Wireless Security System Installs in 35 Minutes!

Enabling one-Man Installs The  recently introduced XTL Wireless Security Panel makes it possible to consistently install a full, distributed, residential or small-business security system in about 35 minutes. The XTL includes a number of features focused on reducing installation time while still providing all the security features of traditional wired systems. The XTL, along with the new 9060 and 9063 Wireless Keypads and 1135 Wireless Siren, are now UL listed. “Time really is money,” said Vice President of Sales, Mark NeSmith. “For security system dealers, shorter installation time means more profit on each job. With the XTL, we’ve given them a system that makes it possible to perform more installations with fewer technicians each day. The XTL is no easily disabled all-in-one system. It’s a professionally installed, distributed system that is real secure and real fast.” Actual installation of a typical system (panel, three doors, and one motion sensor, siren and keypad) can be done in as little as 35 minutes. Total start-to-finish installation time, including customer training and cleanup, can routinely be accomplished in only two hours. DMP drastically reduced system installation time through a number of new and existing features included in the XTL such as:

  • Wireless keypads that automatically associate with the panel
  • Wireless siren can be installed anywhere inside the premises
  • Wireless devices eliminate crawling through attics and pulling wires
  • PIRs can be configured from the keypad (over the air) or remotely from the office including: adjustable sensitivity via panel programming, walk test mode along with disarm/disable operation to save battery life.
  • Built-in GSM communicator
  • 28 zones, pre-programmed and in logical order
  • Wireless Repeater Support
  • Version 105 Software Update TU-0544
  • Remote Link Version 1.54 TU-0553

Installed XTL systems include two-way 1100 Series wireless DMP devices, including:

  • 1135 Wireless Siren: This new siren makes it possible to quickly and easily place multiple interior sirens, creating extra security in residential and commercial installations.
  • 9060 / 9063 Wireless Keypads:  Fully functioning, supervised, wireless keypads that provide installation flexibility with all the features of traditional DMP keypads.
